Made in the UK Show 118

After the shenanigans of the Podcrawl Special we’re back to our regular format for Show 118 (cue Rocky theme music!), and one that has more than a leaning towards acoustic music.

Introducing two of their favourite tracks are Nick Tann from Is This Thing On Podcast and Dave Lee (flying solo due to Caroline being poorly) from The Bug Cast, with the show being topped and tailed by Graham Holland from the Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight.

Hosted by me, Rowley, from DarkCompass this week. This time we all got together (sort of) over Skype. Firstly my conversation with Dave and Caroline from The Bugcast, with their submissions, and their comments about mine, then with Pete from his group of shows PCP, The Dub Zone, The Dub Step Zone, and the New HipHip Zone all at Pete Cogle.Com. We hope you like it.
We discuss metal, and make decisions over the next Podcrawl

Merry Christmas, and happy Boxing Day (which Caroline told us began as a day to give gifts, including leftover food, to the service workers in your life.)

It’s Caroline and Dave from The Bugcast, Nick Tann from the Is This Thing On Podcast and me, Justin Wayne from The Justin Wayne Show.

We did a bit of discussion this episode including bits about Boxing Day, Pete Cogle and his podcast winning a European Podcast Award, and if people should pay for podcasts.  We hope it’s not too much chatter for you!

As always we’ve got six crackin’ tracks from UK’s best indie acts.  Have a look:

Nick Tann kicked off…

1. “We Three Kings” by King Never (Southampton)
2. “I Don’t Wanna Be a Christmas Single” by The Lost Boys (Southampton)

Dave and Caroline of The Bugcast picked up there…

3. “All Is Real” by Spotlight Kid (Nottingham)
4. “There Are Eyes Inside” by The Cult of Dom Keller (Nottingham)

And I, Justin Wayne, played clean up…

5. “Snowball” by The Haiku (Bath) …thanks Colin!
6. “Angel of London” by Tensheds (London)

Let us know what you thought!  Send emails to me and I’ll disseminate through the crowd!  jw (at) thejustinwayneshow.com
